Hudson Valley One is a popular Ulster County news site (and print newspaper) that features daily reporting on the most important events and issues impacting the local community. It gets millions of views each year.
I built the Hudson Valley One website to be simple and straightforward to use, while flexible enough to present large volumes of content and handle large amounts of traffic.
In addition to building, improving and maintaining the site itself, I’m also the Digital Editor at Hudson Valley One. Every day I write breaking news stories that are read by thousands.
This compliments my other role at Hudson Valley One: Culture Editor. The newspaper’s Almanac section has long served as the area’s definitive weekly event calendar. Our team collects event info from over 200 venues each week. I also write brief previews on the most exciting events, and edit submissions from writers across the county.
Finally, I regularly write feature-length articles for Hudson Valley One’s various publications.
